The enforcement orders require, that with immediate effect, the operators will comply with all the conditions stipulated in their respective planning permits.
The body is composed mainly of a chitinous shell or carapace with a small abdominal flap.
The Planning Authority also reserves the right to withdraw the current permits that each operator today enjoys.
Next week, a revised legal notice will be published which will introduce harsher administrative fines intended for any planning illegalities related to the sea including illegalities in the aquaculture sector.
A female Tanner crab may deposit 85,000 to 424,000 eggs in a clutch.
Fertilization is internal, and the eggs are usually ovulated (extruded) within 48 hours onto the female's abdominal flap where they incubate for a year.
