Default global address list is not updating
The Global Address Book (GAL) is a directory of available contact information for CUMC, NYPH and Columbia University faculty, staff and students.
It can be accessed when using a CUMC email (@cumc.columbia.edu) account with Outlook or when logged in to the Outlook Web App.
I've solved the problem in the short term by adding values for "show In Address Book" using ADSI Edit.
However, I'd like to know how to set this up to be done automatically in Exchange 2010 for distributions lists like it was in Exchange 2003.
Microsoft is conducting an online survey to understand your opinion of the Technet Web site.
I can manually add the email address, but it still does not show up when a user is trying to pull up names from the Global Address List (GAL) in Microsoft Outlook.

When adding new accounts in Active Directory, the option to create an email address is enabled.
However, when I go into the account properties, there is nothing showing up as far as an address.
