So many great bikes and Riders, Stu Thomsen, John Crews and soo many more. Started by Linn Kastan, the first chromoly forks, handlebars and many other innovations.
The bicycles were first marketed under the American Eagle brand beginning in 1965 and later under the Nishiki brand until 2001. The Cohens subsequently founded a bicycle, parts and accessory distribution company in the late 1950s, naming it West Coast Cycle Supply Company.
The rest have been acquired used, primarily at garage sales.
Bike technology, of course, changes, but nowhere near as fast as computer technology.
Of course, all this assumes the bike has the original component.
The most likely components to be original are the stem, handlebars, seatpost, and brakes.
